How to Avoid Anti-Spam With Your Auto Responder

Spam is a devilish term and if not taken care of can make your E-mail or article marketing broadcast a cog in the wheel. You must know that there are laws against sending of spam. And to be successful in your marketing promotions you must abide by the laws even if the recipient asks for it.

Abide with the anti spam laws.

There are certain laws you must abide with in order to be compliance with the anti spam laws, for instance in almost all the states of the United States of America, the law is plain on email sent for commercials.

The following elements must be included in the mail to the recipient;

1. Name or business name

Detail contact address which must include; Street address, city, state, zip code and phone number.

2. Subscription update instructions

You must give instructions on how your subscriber can update their details through a link to your site or auto responder service provider.

3. Instructions on how to be delisted from your mailing list

This will allow the recipient to remove them from your mailing list at any point in time.

Protecting Yourself Against Anti spam Laws

You must do everything within the law to protect yourself against being found guilty of contravening or breaking the Anti spam law. This is very important because one or several complaint about you or your business in form of 'report abuse' notice can really go a long way in getting credibility online. This could jeopardize your business growth, profit and earning potentials both online and offline.

Take the following precautions to protect yourself;

-Attend to customer complaints promptly

-Confirm customer information requests before sending the information to them

-Include a check box on order form when clients order your products and/or service to permit you in sending periodic emails to them.

-At no time should you use your auto responder to send unsolicited commercial or products promotion mails.
